Sir Alec Guinness is among the most respected personalities, and one of his most unforgettable portrayals was Obi-Wan Kenobi in the original “Star Wars” trilogy. While the film and his character obtained a great following, Guinness was neither a big fan of his role nor the story.
In an interview with the Parkinson Talk show, he explained that science fiction was not his genre, and although he wanted to change some parts of the dialogue, he kept reading the script and got stuck in it.
