It might not come as a surprise to you, but millennials are also revolutionizing the way people carry their cash. Gone are the days when you would wander the malls in Beverly hills with a stuffed wallet, unless, of course, you’re having fun in Las Vegas or Macau. Wink Wink.
As credit and debit cards have become more and more common, not only for professional use but also for personal purposes, more and more mom-and-pop shops are also shifting towards chip and card readers. According to a poll by NPR and PBS, almost two-thirds of the people under 30 preferred using a card instead of a stack of cash.
