When it comes to fizzy drinks, business is still booming, although sales have declined mainly little by little over the years. As the preferences of younger consumers have shifted, so too have the offerings by soda manufacturers.

From sugar-free and low-calorie carbonated drinks to a list of new, exciting flavors, the industry has been doing its best to target their younger demographic in a last-ditch effort to make them stay. In the last ten years, people have opted for flavored seltzer drinks or bottled water which means that sales have dwindled, and in 2018 alone, the valuations of soda manufacturers in North America dropped by 1%.
