The Zebra Woman and Other Confusing Photos That Prove You Shouldn’t Always Trust Your Eyes

Hey Man, Cute Shorts

Liev Schreiber is an American actor known for films like “The Omen,” “Pawn Sacrifice,” and “The French Dispatch.” So he’s a big deal in Hollywood. Of course, anyone who’s seen him on the screen can attest to the fact that this isn’t what he looks like.

Which means something strange is afoot. This time, we’ll burst the bubble a bit sooner. Schreiber only happened to be wearing a shirt a couple of shades similar to the woman. Those aren’t his denim shorts.

Is it a Conjoined Horse?

The domestication of horses has to be one of man’s greatest achievements. Because once that was out of the way, it allowed us to use them for sport, transportation, agriculture, and even in war.

But the storied history of horses doesn’t just end there. It appears there’s been a change in its evolution, and somehow two-headed horses are now being bred. It’s either that or our eyes are being deceptive. Let’s hope you have a better go at figuring this out.

Beer or Towel

To have two football heavyweights in one photo is no small feat. While Arjen Robben is now retired, David Alaba has remained active on the field. And last we heard, he’d even signed a contract with Real Madrid, the former’s old team.

With that out of the way, it’s nearly impossible to believe that this photo was taken just as Alaba poured a glass of beer on Robben. Because it sure looks like the latter threw a towel over his head!

Stand Strong

Superheroes are real, and “Marvel” and “D.C” have been trying to tell us the truth for decades. This is just a photo of a skydiver taken at a dizzying height.

When this photo first surfaced on the internet, it was even tagged “Giant occupying the city,” which makes sense considering the individual appears to be standing on the bridge. But instead of trying to figure out if the photo is real or not, why not just enjoy the view?

Dogman

Dog lovers assemble. This furry creature appears to be the Keeshond, a breed whose closest relatives are the German spitzes. Its two-toned coat of silver and black gives it a distinguished look, and whoever owns it must get a lot of attention on the streets.

But we can’t catch a glimpse of the lucky owner in this photo because the dog takes center stage. And if we didn’t know better, we’d believe it was a dog-human hybrid sitting on the train.

Sitting so Nicely!

Dogs sitting in trains are looking to be a common theme on this list, and we don’t mind at all. And this isn’t an attempt to dredge up age-old rivalry with cat lovers and persons who prefer other pets. It’s just that dogs are so lovable!

In this case, the lucky canine sat right next to a woman in a pink shirt. And clearly, the person behind the camera thought it was funny how both bodies—canine and human—merged to create a hybrid.

Reality vs. Cartoon

At the risk of sounding like a millennial, or worse, does anyone remember the American animated TV show “Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids?” It ran from ’72 to ’85 and was the highlight of many lazy Saturday mornings.

The 2004 movie version of the show features a portal in the cartoon world that causes the animated characters to come to life. And these 2D bags look like the sort of accessories you’d find in animations, not the real world!

Snacks or Sloths?

What do a chocolate-filled snack and one of the slowest creatures on earth have in common? Nothing on paper, but this photo brings up a few similarities. For anyone who’s wondering, these tasty-looking treats are pain au chocolat.

They’re just like the French croissant except filled with chocolate. And something about these reminds us of sloths laying low in their natural habitat—if their habitat happened to be plastic packaging instead of the tropical rain forests of Central and South America.

Benjamin Button

“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” is a 2008 fantasy movie that tells the tale of a man who was born old and slowly aged backward until he died a baby. While initially confusing, it turned out to be quite a fun watch.

And if we needed a real-life representation of the movie’s plot, this would be it. Somehow a man and boy have become one, and we don’t know whose torso can lay claim to the head and bucket hat.
