Canada is one of the few countries in the world that has legalized pot for both recreational and medicinal purposes. However, that was not the case in 2005, despite “The Simpsons” showing it as so.
In the episode named “Midnight Rx,” Ned goes to Canada with Grandpa, Homer, and Apu, only to realize that, contrary to the USA, pot is legal in Canada. For Canadians who felt offended by the prediction, it finally came to pass in 2018.
