One of the main advancements in technology is the development of robots, which are slowly simplifying work processes. However, we still find it hard to understand how, in 1995, “The Simpsons” knew that robots would be employed in libraries.
The robot at Lisa’s university was in humanoid form, but real ones can be found in libraries such as the Joe and Rika Mansueto in Chicago. This enables requests to be processed and delivered by an automated retrieval system. The writers have never been more correct.
