Autocorrect Before It Was – Season 6, Episode 8
Autocorrect is a big part of our lives today. It has proven to be a darling and an inconvenience sometimes. The latter was the case for the Springfield bullies in “The Simpsons” when they tried to write “beat up Martin”, and it became “eat up Martha”.
Before we talk about how lucky Martin was, it’s interesting that autocorrect had not been invented at the time of this episode. We guess “The Simpsons” is always ahead of time. And it’s not bad, as Apple used this episode to improve its keyboard features!
