No More Doubt
Hana couldn’t shake the memory of the injured creature on the hospital floor. Its eyes had spoken louder than any voice, and now there were more just like it below. She agreed with Peter. The bear had brought them here for a reason.
Her eyes scanned the forest until she spotted a tree with thick, steady roots. It was close enough to anchor the rope. She hurried over, looped it tightly, and pulled with all her strength. This knot had to stay. As she tied it off, one thought repeated in her head: this time, it had to hold.
