The Bear in the Hospital Was Not the Scariest Part of the Night
Into the Unknown
Hana couldn’t look away. The bear didn’t seem scared or confused. Every movement it made felt intentional, like it had somewhere to be and knew the way. She told the officers she needed to follow it, her voice calm and confident. They didn’t stop her. They exchanged uncertain glances but remained silent.
Hana moved slowly, step by step, keeping her eyes on the bear. It didn’t pause or look back. It just walked down the hallway, steady and quiet. She followed close behind, drawn forward by something she couldn’t explain but no longer questioned.
