Karen Dotrice has acting coursing through her veins. Both of her parents are in the industry so, she took the natural route and also pursued a career in drama. She also started at a young age and found fame while finding plenty of attention for her role as Jane Banks in the iconic Disney film “Mary Poppins.”
She continued to make big-screen appearances and also built a reputation as a stage actress, notably playing Desdemona in “Othello.” This proved to be her final major role, and she retired in 1984 to focus on her family. She did make a cameo appearance in 2018’s “Mary Poppins Returns.”
