Before Netflix & YouTube: The Child Stars Who Lit Up The Screens Of Yesteryear

Ralph Carter

Ralph Carter hit the scene in 1974 as Michael Evans on the hit sitcom “Good Times,” when he was just 13 years old. His role as the politically conscious youngest son quickly won hearts. His talent shone bright, earning him a Tony Award nomination for his performance in the musical “Raisin.”

Fast forward to today, and Ralph is no longer the young kid from “Good Times.” He’s been involved in various theater productions and even dabbled in music. Though he keeps a low profile, Ralph occasionally pops up at fan conventions.
