Frogs Never Drink
We have said it, and the title is not a mistake! Indeed, frogs don’t drink water as we do, but that doesn’t mean they don’t take in water. These amphibians (living in water and on land) take water through a unique process.
Frogs use their skin, the “drinking patch,” located just below their belly on their thighs’ undersides, to absorb water. If that’s not strange enough, they swallow water using their eyes. Not everything that lives in water drinks it!
