An Elite List of Barely Known Insignificant Things That Reallllly Exist Across the Globe
Dollar-laden Dog
The 1939 film “The Wizard of Oz” was received with critical acclaim and performed exemplary at the box office, grossing over $3 million. The movie stood out for its excellent storyline and cast, which included a dog, Toto.
What is unique about the film is that Toto, played by Terry, earned more money than the actors who played munchkins. While they took home about $50 a week, akin to bank managers in the ’30s, the canine made $125 weekly. This is when it is better to be a dog.
