Soccer fans marveled at Paul the Octopus’ ability to correctly predict game scores during the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. This psychic ability makes octopuses one of the world’s most intelligent invertebrates. They can also use tools held by the sucker-covered tentacles.

People have long assumed or believed that an octopus has eight legs, but this is not the case. According to a study published by a commercial aquarium chain, the eight tentacles form its six arms and two legs.
