The national flag is the window through which we understand a country’s people, land, and government, as it talks more about its culture through its salient features. It’s no surprise that destroying some countries’ flags may result in incarceration.
However, this important state symbol in Denmark could only cause problems if one burned another country’s flag. While it’s alright to burn the Danish flag, the state prohibits burning another nation’s flag to avoid foreign provocation that can hurt its world community status.
