The AutoCorrect Strikes Back

To unhem a piece of clothing means to undo the process of hemming, so clothes fit the people wearing them better. It’s used in sewing when, for instance, pants need to be shortened. But guess what? AutoCorrect isn’t a big fan of the word.

Perhaps because unhemming wasn’t in this AutoCorrect dictionary, this poor mom was forced to split it into two words to avoid saying she urinated herself. Luckily, she managed to “unhem” the situation and let her child know everything was okay.
