From Modest to Flashy: A Quick Look at the Houses of Some of America’s Most Famous People
Dwyane Wade – Miami Beach ($22 Million)
Dwayne Wade is a former American professional basketball player. During his 16-year career, he played for Miami Heat for 14 of those years, teaming up with stars like Shaquille O’Neal and Lebron James. He bought this mansion for $10.625 million during his time with the team.
The renovated 12,000-square-feet property has a wine cellar, movie theatre, backyard pool, and, as you’ll expect, a basketball court. In 2021, “The Wall Street Journal” reported it had been bought for $22 million. Its new owner should enjoy the view of the Biscayne Bay, which the six-bedrooms mansion offers.
Jamie Lee Curtis – Los Angeles (Undisclosed)
Jamie Lee Curtis must have gotten her love for acting from her legendary show business parents. Despite her extensive portfolio, her debut in horror films earned her the nickname ‘scream queen.’ And if you’ve been following her ‘Laurie’ character in the “Halloween” movies, the 2021 release, “Halloween Kills,” should be right up your alley.

Curtis’s house in Los Angeles is the last place you’d expect a multiple award-winning actress and star of the Hollywood Walk of Fame to live in. But she’s nothing if not distinctive. The 4,108-square-feet Spanish Colonial Revival house built in the ’20s was later renovated with the help of architect Michael B. Lehrer.
Bill Murray – New York($1.65 Million)
Bill Murray is a household name in Hollywood. After making his start on “Saturday Night Live,” he starred in a series of comedy movies, including “Meatballs” and “Ghostbusters.” He also played the part of ‘Dr. Peter Venkman’ in the 2021 movie “Ghostbusters: Afterlife.”

Murray owns this lovely house in New York. The Gothic Revival home was built in 1868, spreads across 5,100-square-feet and boasts five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a lush garden. Unfortunately, we can’t say how much the house cost when Murray purchased it. However, the new owner snapped it up for $1.65 million in 2018, according to the “New York Post.”
Kim & Kanye West – Bel Air ($17.8 Million)
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may have been one of the world’s most famous couple once, but not since their divorce in 2021. Kardashian has risen to a well-known socialite and businesswoman. West is a business mogul and renowned rapper. So it’s fitting to call this former pair a power couple.

Still, we’re more interested in their museum-like Bel Air mansion. The stately home comes with six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a massive pool, and floor-to-ceiling windows, which offer a panoramic view of the city. Unfortunately, however, the couple sold the property to Silicon Valley entrepreneur Marina Acton for $17.8 million in 2017.
Matt Damon – Pacific Palisades ($15 Million)
Matt Damon is well-known as ‘Jason Bourne’ in the “Bourne” franchise. However, he’s established himself as a remarkably skilled actor with his long list of acting credits, including “Good Will Hunting” and the 2021 release “Stillwater.” Damon came under fire for using an anti-LGBTQ+ term in 2021.

But he can weather the storm of any controversy in this 13,500-square-feet home in Pacific Palisades. The house is a mix of Spanish Colonial and Modern California architecture. And mahogany vaulted ceilings, an open atrium, and a floating staircase are just a few of the numerous features which make up its interior. He parted ways with the property for $18 million in 2021.
Betsy Devos – Holland, Michigan ($10 Million)
Betsy Devos is what we like to call American Royalty with her family making the 2016 Forbes list of the wealthiest families in America. But her best claim to fame is her illustrious career as a government official. She served as the United States Secretary of Education under President Donald Trump’s administration. And in 2021, she resigned shortly after the attack on the Capitol building.

Devos owns a summer home in Holland, Michigan – and nothing like your typical vacation home. Overlooking Lake Macatawa and spreading across 22,000-square-feet, the three-bedroom mansion is done in all-white. Still, one would have a hard time counting all its windows.
Harvey Weinstein – New York ($10 Million)
Harvey Weinstein is the co-founder of the film distribution company “Miramax.” Although their initial productions were music-focused films, they later produced successful independent movies like “The Crying Game,” “Heavenly Creatures,” and “Flirting with Disaster.”

Weinstein was also the proud owner of this 9,000-square-feet residence in Amagansett, New York. But in the wake of a series of sexual harassment and assault allegations, he sold the home for $10 million to Taisho Holdings Inc. Although he was sentenced to 23 years in prison in 2020, 2021 saw him being extradited to Los Angeles for a subsequent trial.
Chuck Norris – Dallas ($1.2 Million)
If you grew up watching action films like “An Eye for an Eye” and “The Expendables 2,” then Chuck Norris must be a familiar face. The U.S. Air Force veteran turned professional martial artist and actor is also the founder of the United Fighting Arts Federation. In 2021, he was featured as a tank commander in the World of Tanks video game.

A successful acting career often translates to financial prosperity, so it’s no surprise that Norris could afford this four-bedroom, 7,362-square-feet ranch house in Northwood, Dallas. The home was built in 1975 but was renovated to include a ‘Total’ gym, a detached studio, and other upgrades.
Drew Scott – Los Angeles ($2.3 Million)
Drew Scott is a television personality and co-host of the tv show “Property Brothers.” And yes, his co-host is, in fact, his twin brother, Jonathan. Fans and viewers of his hit show must have high expectations for his home. And Drew doesn’t disappoint with his five-bedroom California house.

Although the house wasn’t exactly a dream come true at first look, Scott, with the help of his brother, performed a renovation, and the result is startling. The house is also the site of the podcast, “At Home With Linda & Drew Scott,” which he co-hosts alongside his wife to date.
Jonathan Scott – Las Vegas (Undisclosed)
Jonathan Scott is the second half of the duo that makes up the “Property Brothers.” He makes his home in Las Vegas, but he’s quick to state that he’s neither a gambler nor a nightclub guy. Nevertheless, anyone who’s seen Scott’s Mediterranean-inspired 5,000-square-feet home can understand why he chooses to remain in the city.

If you’re expecting a regular bachelor pad, then you’re in for a surprise. His house was designed for socializing with a massive dining room, an outdoor hot tub, and a 15-foot movie screen in direct view of the tub. In 2021, he posted a loved-up photo of himself and his girlfriend, Zoey Deschanel, in honor of their second anniversary.
Barry Weiss – Beverly Hills ($1.8 Million)
The iconic music executive Barry Weiss is affiliated with stars like Chris Brown, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, and The Weeknd. But when he’s not hard at work, Weiss is settling in at his luxurious mansion in Beverly Hills.

The Spanish-revival home is surrounded by lush greenery, so he’s got the best of both worlds. And while privacy concerns keep us from seeing into the undoubtedly lavish interior, our imagination can fill in the gaps. In 2021, Weiss made a grand entrance at the Season 13 premiere of the hit show “Storage Wars”–In a 1939 Lincoln Zephyr!
Richard Dean Anderson – Malibu (Undisclosed)
Richard Dean Anderson got widespread recognition for playing the lead actor in the TV show “MacGyver.” He was also recognized by the Air Force for his role as actor and executive producer of “Stargate SG-1.” In 2022, he made an appearance on the podcast “Conversations in Sci-Fi.”

For Anderson, home is a rambling two-story home in Malibu. Like us, you may be impressed to discover that he drew the home’s original plans himself. He then hired Erik Evens and Patricia Baker of KAA Design Group to bring his ideas to life. Also, interior designer Adaline Fagen is to thank for the mid-western-inspired décor.
Nick Nolte – Malibu ($3.9 Million)
Nick Nolte’s dedication to acting is well documented. In 2021, Nolte shaved off his impressive beard to prepare for a role, and fans could not get over his new look. Malibu is one of the most popular locations of the crème de la crème of the entertainment industry. So it makes sense that Nolte would choose to own a house in the town.

His house spreads across 6,000-square-feet and has a 19-foot vaulted ceiling and skylights in the living room. Other highlights include Italian marble floors, flagstone, carved wood fireplaces, and a dramatic staircase. Although he initially listed it for $8.25 million, Nolte sold the property for $3.9 million in 2014.
Dennis Rodman – Orange County ($1.1 Million)
Dennis Rodman is one of the greatest players to ever play in the NBA. Nicknamed “The Worm,” it’s the perfect word to describe his exceptional skill at defending and rebounding on the basketball court. Despite retiring in 2006, he hasn’t gone unrecognized. In 2021, Rodman was honored by the NBA, who included him in their 75th-anniversary team.

Rodman once owned this 5,000-square-feet ranch-style home in Orange County. The house comes with five bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and a sauna. But less than a year after its purchase, Rodman sold the home for $1.1 million.
Jennifer Aniston – Beverly Hills ($38 Million)
“Friends” is one of those TV shows that remains evergreen no matter how many years go by. And we definitely have its incredible cast to thank for its ever-present relevance. While Jennifer Aniston has come a long way since playing Rachel Green on that sitcom, she and her co-stars reunited in the 2021 TV special “Friends: The Reunion.”

In 2006, Aniston bought a lovely 10,000-square-feet deluxe house in Beverly Hills. She also enlisted the help of designer Stephen Shadley to upgrade the home to meet her standards. Then, barely five years into owning the masterpiece, Aniston sold it for $38 million. Not bad for a house she bought for $13.5 million.
Jennifer Lopez – Hamptons ($10 Million)
Jennifer Lopez has made her mark as an outstanding performer; she’s also done the same as a fashion icon. In case you didn’t know, her iconic dress at the 42nd Grammy Awards is the reason why Google has an image search option. And at the 2021 Met Gala, she stole the show with her Western-inspired outfit.

As far as impeccable taste goes, Lopez has got it to the hilt. Although she has a couple of houses, her $10 million Hampton mansion is a favorite. The house sits on 3-acres of land and has eight bedrooms, a media room, a heated pool, among other features.
Eric Braeden – Santa Monica (Undisclosed)
In 2021, Eric Braeden insisted that he hasn’t fully considered retiring yet. This came after he was asked if he’d like to leave his long-running role in CBS’ soap opera, “The Young and Restless.” But after over four decades, we imagine Braeden has become very attached to playing ‘Victor Newman.’

Still, whenever he does decide to hang up his hat, Braeden will do so content that he can spend time at this tranquil mountain home in Santa Monica. The house spans 3,500-square-feet with a gorgeous wood-inspired interior. And though he picked out the location, his wife is the brains behind the diverse details of the home’s interior.
Christie Brinkley – North Haven ($18 Million)
Christie Brinkley’s illustrious career as a supermodel began when she was discovered in a Paris post office. While her days as a model may be behind her, appearing on over 500 magazine covers is no mean feat. In a 2021 CNBC interview, Brinkley revealed that taking each day to practice gratitude really gives her focus.

This 5,500-square-feet home in North Haven, New York, is definitely one more reason for anyone to be grateful. The house was built in 1843 and still retains details like the columns on two façades, its wide-plank pine floor, and multiple fireplaces, all on 5,500-square-feet. However, Brinkley sold the house off for $18 million in 2019.
David Dobrik – Studio City ($2.5 Million)
While it’s general knowledge that David Dobrik found fame thanks to YouTube, he already had quite a large following on Vine. Being an internet personality means almost every facet of your private life is open for public perusal. Unfortunately, in 2021, Dobrik was the tragic victim of cancel culture.

Fame isn’t all trouble and comes with good sides, like a personal fortune and this Mediterranean-style house in Studio City. The 2,900-square-feet, four-bedroom home offers Dobrik a broad view of the San Fernando Valley. In 2021, he put the property up for sale with an asking price of $3.5 million.
Jeffree Star – Hidden Hills ($14.6 Million)
Jeffree Star is another YouTube star who’s no stranger to controversy. He’s also an entrepreneur thanks to ownership of Jeffree Star Cosmetics. Star insists he literally started out from nothing, making his 2018 YouTube earnings of $18 million all the more impressive.

He may have started out as nothing, but he’s sure made something of himself. And his palatial home in Hidden Hills is proof of this fact. The house is done in a French Normandy style and boasts 2.82 acres with 19,549-square-feet of living space. Star listed the home in 2021 for $20 million, so we hope he’s moving on to bigger things.
Billy Joel – Florida ($35 Million)
If Billy Joel is sometimes called the ‘Piano Man,’ it’s a tribute to his signature hit song and 1973 album of the same name. And with over 160 million records sold worldwide, Joel is undoubtedly one of the greatest artists of all time. In 2021, Joel released “The Vinyl Collection Vol 1.”

Our favorite of his properties is this 9,312-square-feet mansion in Manalapan, Florida. The house’s nine bedrooms, four-car garage, and dining area with a fantastic ocean view add to its allure. However, in 2018, Joel reduced his initial asking price for the mansion, putting it back on the market for $16.9 million.
Aaron Spelling – California ($120 Million)
According to the Los Angeles Times, the highest home sale recorded in Los Angeles County is the $120 million sale of a home formerly owned by renowned producer Aaron Spelling. The Spellings initially sold it in 2014 to Petra Stunt for $85 million in 2011. After remodeling it, Stunt was able to sell it for the record-breaking amount in 2019.

Before his death in 2006, Spelling was one of the most prolific television producers of all time, with over 200 producer and executive producer credits. This 4.7-acre property has a stunning 123 rooms spread across 56,500-square-feet.
Simon Cowell – Beverly Hills ($29 Million)
If there’s one other television personality and media executive who knows a thing or two about investing in real estate, it’s Simon Cowell. And we simply have to look no further than his house in Beverly Hills. The only thing more impressive than its $29 million purchase price is its 8,335-square-feet of living space.

The sprawling house also comes with an eight-car garage, a spa, a recreation room, and a tanning salon. Cowell parted ways with the fortress in 2020 after concluding its sale for $25 million. But this $4 million loss pales in comparison to his heartbreak over the sudden death of Carlos Marin in 2021.
Alicia Keys – New Jersey ($14.9 Million)
One has to look towards New Jersey to find the palatial home of iconic singer Alicia keys. She bought the 32-room Englewood home from comedian Eddie Murphy, and we see the appeal. Not only does the house spread across 25,000-square-feet, but it also comes with eight bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, a movie theater, and a recording studio.

It’s a performer’s dream home. But with all its perks, it wasn’t big enough to house Key’s contemporary art collection. So she put the house up for sale in 2015. In 2021, Keys took us through a musical journey of loss, overcoming, and resilience with her companion albums, “KEYS” and “Unlocked.”
Jackie Collins – Beverly Hills ($30 Million)
You’d be hard-pressed to find a Jackie Collins novel that hasn’t appeared on The New York Times bestseller list. And with over 500 million copies sold globally, Collins ranks as one of the most notable novelists in the world. Before her death in 2015, Collins owned a modern estate in Beverly Hills.

The design of the house was reportedly inspired by “A Bigger Splash,” a pop painting by David Hockney. And its impressive stats include 21,784-square-feet of space, eight bedrooms, and a 100-foot-long gallery hall that connects the main property to a guest house. In 2021, Laura Fairrie directed the documentary film “Lady Boss,” based on Collins’ life and career.
Cindy Crawford – Malibu ($60 Million)
Cindy Crawford was one of the highest-paid supermodels in the mid-’80s and ’90s. And though she retired from full-time modeling in 2000, she still appears on covers of magazines. Crawford has made some sound financial decisions since attaining celebrity status. One of them is her custom-built Malibu beach home.

The house boasts 5,254-square-feet, four bedrooms, and six bathrooms. It also has a massive pool and large floor-to-ceiling windows, offering a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. The house became even more popular after being featured in the movie “Gidget.” In 2021, Crawford and her family took a break from this house, spending some time off in Mexico.
Alex Rodriguez – Miami ($30 Million)
Alex Rodriguez is one of the best baseball players in history. But rather than enjoy retirement on the proceeds of his lucrative career, Rodriguez made his television debut as a broadcaster for “Fox Sports 1” and a member of the ABC News Network. Then, in 2021, he partnered with the telehealth company “Hims” to launch a concealer stick.

In 2010, he spent $7.4 million on a gorgeous estate in Miami Beach and another $7.6 million upgrading it. The 2-story residence lies over acres of lush greenery and comes with 19,861-square-feet of living space. It also has 12.5 bathrooms, nine bedrooms, and a guest house. He sold the property off in 2013.
Katharine Hepburn – Connecticut ($11.5 Million)
Katharine Hepburn was an iconic star with an acting career spanning over six decades. Best known for playing strong-willed and sophisticated characters, it’s interesting that Hepburn’s on-screen persona directly reflects her real personality. Before her death in 2006, she made her home in the Fenwick estate previously owned by her parents.

Unfortunately, the original house was destroyed in a 1938 hurricane. However, Hepburn redesigned the home with an eye for comfort and durability, and its sloping roofs and nautical-inspired exterior simply add to the home’s glamour. In 2021 the Reading Public Museum hosted an exhibition spotlighting the outfits that shaped Hepburn’s image over five decades of her career.
Joe Montana – California ($24.5 Million)
Joe Montana is undoubtedly one of the greatest quarterbacks in football history. To deny it is to deny his Super Bowl career records for most passes without an interception and the all-time passer rating of 127.8. His nickname, ‘Joe Cool,’ sure goes well with his cool mansion in Calistoga, California.

The main villa is a three-bedroom building covering 9,700-square-feet of space. Not only does the 500-acre property contain a basketball court and a field for horse riding, but it also boasts a field of oil-producing olive trees. According to Claudine Zap of Realtor, in 2021, Montana relisted the sprawling residence for $24.5 million.
Robin Williams – Napa Valley ($18.1 Million)
Robin Williams may have started as a stand-up comedian on the San Francisco and Los Angeles circuit. Still, he gained international recognition for his role in the ABC sitcom “Mork & Mindy.” Before his tragic death in 2014, Williams owned a Mediterranean-style home in the Mayacamas Mountains of Napa Valley.

Though the 18.4-acres of vineyard is the estate’s most significant selling point, the house spanning 20,000-square-feet contains five bedrooms and six bathrooms. Other amenities include a tennis court and a horse barn. According to Forbes, the house was sold for $18.1 million in 2016. In 2021, his daughter Zelda revealed her displeasure towards some impersonations of her late dad.
Greg Norman – Jupiter Island, Florida ($65 Million)
Greg Norman has spent decades playing in golf tournaments across the globe. But in all his travels, he’d never been to a “Ryder Cup. That changed in 2021 when he was appointed to anchor the event for SiriusXM. With his golfing days behind him, he takes time off business in this house in Jupiter Island.

Since 1991 when it was first purchased, the house has seen enough renovations. This 8.31-acre sanctuary has 10 bedrooms and 18 bathrooms in seven buildings, with 31,820-square-feet of living space spread across them. But it seems the Great White Shark is ready to move on – he listed the home for $60 million in 2021.
Lisa Bonet – Topanga ($1 Million)
Lisa Bonet is best known for her role as ‘Denise Huxtable’ on “The Cosby Show.” And she’s also married to our favorite “Game of Thrones” and “Aquaman” star, Jason Momoa. In 2021, Momoa revealed that he wouldn’t like their children to pursue show business careers. We’d like to know if Bonet agrees.

Though she lives in a sprawling LA house with her beau, Bonet also owns this Topanga property. However, reports say that it is in the name of her ex-husband, Lenny Kravitz. Though most may be taken aback by the round 1,609-square-feet house, we’re willing to hold our breath until we catch a glimpse of the home’s interior.
Rick Harrison – Las Vegas ($3.99 Million)
Rick Harrison is a television personality and business owner. He owns the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop, which makes regular appearances on the show “Pawn Stars.” The show kicked off its 18th season in March 2021. Harrison has also utilized his head for business in acquiring unique real estate properties. One of them is this magnificent Las Vegas house.

Just like his pawn store, Harrison can quickly point out relics that make up the home, including a 12th-century stained glass window and a 200-year-old door. It also comes with a 12-seat home theater, a vast wine cellar, and a formal dining room perfect for large dinner parties.
Mike Rowe – San Francisco (Undisclosed)
Mike Rowe is a notable celebrity if there ever was one. So his work on the Discovery Channel series, “Dirty Jobs” may very well be described as unusual. Since 2021, he’s served as the host of the Fox show “How America Works.”

Still, he refuses to take advantage of his fortune like most television personalities by buying a big property? Instead, Rowe lives in the same San Francisco home as in 2016 when he pulled a shotgun on a drone hovering outside his window. If anything, that incident gives us insight into how much Rowe values his privacy. So we guess we won’t be getting any home tours soon.
Alex Trebek – Los Angeles ($4 Million)
Alex Trebek is best known for hosting the “Jeopardy!” quiz game show for 37 seasons! So it was with great sadness that the world received news of his death in 2020. To honor him, in 2021, the show renamed its stage to ‘The Alex Trebek Stage.’

But before passing on, Trebek owned this four-bedroom, 5,554-square-feet property in Hollywood Hills. The house was built in the ’80s but did receive some upgrades to meet modern standards. Although Trebek initially parted ways with the house in 1996 for $940k, the new owners resold it in 2009.
XXXTentacion – Florida ($1.4 Million)
Jahseh Onfroy, professionally known as XXXTentacion, was one more American rapper who became more famous after their death. In August 2021, his single “Sad!” was certified diamond. With the towering success of his first posthumous album, “?,” it can be said Onfroy made his mark on the music industry.

Weeks before his death in 2018, he purchased four houses for his family. Onfroy also spent $1.4 million on this Florida mansion he planned to move into. The property covered 6,000-square-feet and had four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a swimming pool. Ironically, the property was only 15 minutes away from the site of the shooting that ended his life.
Zach & Tori Roloff – Oregon ($560k)
Appearing on reality TV may turn your private life public, but it has proven to be a sure way to keep the paychecks coming for many. The same can be said for Zach and Tori Roloff, who appeared on the reality TV show “Little People, Big World.”

This couple owns this $560k home in Oregon, a perfect example of a family home. Equipped with five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and an outdoor area with a swing set, fire pit, and a swimming pool, we’re sure you see why. In a 2021 Instagram post, Tori announced the family’s move to Washington.
Robert Downey Jr. – East Hamptons ($11.9 Million)
We enjoyed watching Robert Downey Jr play the title character in the 2020 film “Dolittle.” However, he is best known for his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Iron Man. In many aspects, Downey Jr may differ from his Iron Man character. However, one striking similarity is the fortune of both characters, which leaves much to envy.

Downey Jr owns this lavish property which he bought for $11.9 Million. Known as the ‘De Rose Windmill,’ the 19th-century structure was built as a playhouse. However, upon renovation, the home spans 8,500-square-feet and contains seven bedrooms. The outdoor space is all shades of rustic and comes with a tennis court, garden, and pool.
Parker Schnabel – Daily Motels
Parker Schnabel may be famous for the hit show “Gold Rush,” but he’s acquired a reputation for modesty. In a world where famous people are known for their lavish homes and large estates, Schnabel doesn’t appear to own any such properties.

With a constant appearance on the hit show and with credits as a producer, we have no doubt about Schnabel’s earning power. But his lack of a stable residence makes sense, considering he’s always on the move. The house pictured above is one of the places he’s been known to lay his head. In 2021, he returned to the screens with his mining crew for season 12 of “Gold Rush.”
Jim Brown – Hollywood Hills (Undisclosed)
Jim Brown is considered one of the greatest players in NFL history. If you’re in doubt, during a championship playoff game in 2020, he was named the greatest college football player of all time. His home also reflects the success of his professional career.

The highlight of Brown’s Hollywood Hills mansion is its unobstructed view of the city. He bought the 3,920-square-feet, four-bedroom home in 2006 for an undisclosed sum. According to an interview with The Wall Street Journal, his favorite thing to do is sit on the deck facing the house to see anyone who steps up to ring the doorbell.
Loni Anderson – Sherman Oaks ($2.435 Million)
Best known for portraying receptionist Jennifer Marlowe on the CBS sitcom “WKRP in Cincinnati,” Loni Anderson bagged three Golden Globes Awards and two Emmy Awards nominations. In 2020, she featured in episodes of “My Sister is So Gay” as Frances, a role she’s played since its 2016 premiere.

Marlowe sure knows how to live out her golden days in style. So she shelled out $1.9 million to own this house in 2007. Spanning 4,630-square-feet, its floors are made of walnut hardwood, adding to its grandeur. With French doors that open to a sprawling yard with mature oak trees and a saltwater pool, it’s just her own little paradise. She sold it in 2015 for $2.1 million.
Judge Judy Sheindlin – Rhode Island ($9 million)
Judge Judy Sheindlin tackles actual small claims cases and is good at what she does. While she is known in legal circles as a former Manhattan family court judge, we know her best as the star of the reality TV show “Judge Judy. “In 2021, she launched a spin-off series titled “Judy Justice.”

Her paycheck from her TV shows affords her luxuries like this $9 million mansion on Rhode Island. The 9,719-square-feet masterpiece has a gourmet kitchen, six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and, of course, a library. With over four acres of land, there’s no shortage of outdoor space.

Dave Hester – Westminster ($357.6K)
Anyone who’s seen the reality television competition series “Storage Wars” knows Dave Hester, aka ‘The Mogul.’ As one of the leading buyers, he’s appeared on more than 10 seasons of the show. However, he seems to have left the show as he’s not been seen on-air since 2019.

Hester is known for finding treasure in the least expected places, so he definitely saw potential in this single-story house when he snapped it up for $155,500 in 1995. In 2022, its value is estimated to be $357.6K. The building comes with 1,263square-feet of living space, four bedrooms, and two bathrooms. No stranger to lawsuits, in 2020, Hester lost a legal battle with storage giant “Public Storage.”
Blake Shelton – Nashville ($2.245 Million)
Blake Shelton was already famous as a country music artist before taking the spot on “The Voice.” Thanks to his impressive coaching, he has millions of fans cheering him each season. Shelton made headlines in 2021 after he tied the knot with his lover and fellow “The Voice” coach, Gwen Stefani.

But the couple won’t be spending any time in this luxurious Nashville mansion. The house spreads across 10,627-square-feet, and its gold-painted ceiling adds a hint of drama to the rustic décor. The home also has five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a media room, a pool, and a lush backyard. After his divorce from Miranda Lambert, Shelton sold the home for $2.245 million.
Sarah Palin – Arizona ($6.2 Million)
Sarah Palin served as the mayor of Wasilla in 1996 before assuming office as the 9th Governor of Alaska in 2006. After her resignation in 2009, she enjoyed a career as a television personality, offering commentary for Fox News. While speaking at the 2021 AmericaFest in Phoenix, she expressed her utter refusal to get the COVID vaccine.

Palin was once the proud owner of her 2.1-acre lot in Arizona. The property housed an unfinished building of 7,600-square-feet and a contemporary build. WE can’t say why Palin abandoned the building project halfway. Still, a home buyer in Scottsdale was eager to take it out of her hands for a hefty $6.2 million.
Bill Clinton – Chappaqua, New York ($1.7 Million)
It may have been years since the presidency of Bill Clinton, but he’s still relevant. In 2021, his ‘MasterClass’ course on Inclusive Leadership was released. Speaking of celebrities who’ve made interesting real estate decisions, we simply have to mention Bill’s gorgeous Chappaqua home.

He and his famous partner, Hilary, purchased the Dutch-colonial-style house in 1999 for $1.7 million. And it boasts 5,300-square-feet living space, five bedrooms, and four bathrooms. The house was in the news in 2018 when a fire broke out, but thankfully, it was quickly extinguished. In 2016, the Clintons expanded their property, paying $1.6 million for the 3,631-square-foot lot.
Hillary Clinton – Washington ($2.85 Million)
Hilary Clinton may have lost her claim to being the first lady of the United States in 2001. But a year before that, she and her husband, Bill, bought this Brick-style colonial house in Washington DC for $2.85 million.

The house occupies over 5,000-square feet, and its best features include an airy conservatory and a sizeable swimming pool. The home also has seven bathrooms which are more than enough for the Clintons and any visiting guests. In 2021, Hilary’s course on MasterClass “Hilary Rodham Clinton Teaches the Power of Resilience” was released.
