Remember the film “Little Shop Of Horrors?” Well, this plant is the closest you’re ever going to get to Audrey II. This is an actual carnivorous plant called the Nepenthes truncata and is native to the Philippines. It doesn’t eat humans, although some interesting things have been found in them.
The most notable was a mouse carcass, which was photographed inside one of these plants at the Botanical Gardens in Lyon, France. It digested the flesh but not the bones.
