All Aboard The Polar Express
The Polar Express is a 1985 children’s book that was made into a 2004 computer-generated film with Tom Hanks in the starring role. The film gained favorable reviews and, in 2006, was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the first all-digital captured film. It also grossed $314 million in sales.
There’s nothing digital about this image, though, as this train snakes its way through the snow-covered Canadian Rockies. It looks amazingly like the train in the movie.
