People tend to call a person who is intellectually advanced and extremely studious an “egghead.” These individuals are known for their love of reading, but their behavior is sometimes confusing and unnerving. This particular egghead statue is causing unease, with some wondering if it represents Humpty Dumpty, who may have taken his warnings to heart. But this Humpty Dumpty doesn’t seem to have had a great fall.
The UC Davis campus in California is home to a collection of egghead sculptures created by Professor Robert Arneson, a faculty member at the university. The first statue was installed in 1991, marking the start of this unique and intriguing series.
