Cat Owners Are Paw-some!
In 2014, a study of 600 college students found that those who own dogs are more outgoing than those who have cats. This shows that cat people are more introverted and have above-average intelligence. Even when a test that measures cognitive ability was carried out, the cat lovers were found to be more intellectually curious and intellectually speaking, hence, scoring highest.
According to Steve McKeown, those who prefer cats as pets are mostly non-conformists. They are known to stand up for their belief despite whatever anyone thinks, perhaps mirroring the independence for which cats are known.
