Greyback is a member of the Death Eaters. He was bitten by a werewolf at a young age and had been brought to court later on in his life for a similar excursion. He infected Remus Lupin with it at an early age as an act of revenge against his father, Lyall Lupin, who actively berated werewolves in front of Greyback. Greyback was also the leader of the Snatchers group.
