Fast food is truly a double-edged sword. According to a study conducted by the University of Turku, unhealthy (but tasteful) food can increase one’s pleasure more than healthier alternatives. In other words, ordering a burger and fries is one of the fastest ways of injecting some much-needed endorphins into the brain.
The key to this winter tip, however, is to know when to stop. Some fast food is okay and can help you fight SAD, but too much can hurt your overall well-being.
