The Broadway production of “Orphans” saw the dramatic tension between Alec Baldwin and Shia LaBeouf escalate to an extreme. New York Magazine reported there was an apparent strain between them.
Apparently, Shia had memorized his lines before rehearsals and frustratedly waited for his tenured co-star to catch up. But considering Alec’s past work, he’s not a slacker. Shia complained that Alec was “slowing him down,” ultimately leading to an attack that got Shia off the show.
