Mary Kay Place And Kurt Russell From The Movie ‘Captain Ron’
If you’re a fan of sailing or just looking for a good chuckle, “Captain Ron” is the film for you. Kurt Russell, Martin Short, and Mary Kay Place star in it. Captain Ron’s whole wardrobe was based on Russell’s personal collection, and even his mannerisms were incorporated into the character. He almost turned down the underage drinking part, but he gave in to what he was told was ideal for the character.
Short was originally envisioned as the film’s protagonist by one of the film’s screenwriters. There were a lot of changes, but we wonder what could have happened when they went with their initial plan of naming the movie “Martin Harvey Takes a Cruise”?
