The Elkhorn Saloon, Pictured In Montana, 1915

Over the last century, there has been a discernible shift in the norms of fashion. These dapper gents are captured in the photograph taken at the Elk Horn bar. In the past, spittoons were commonplace at pubs, and this one shows four of them placed on the floor by the bar.

Ed Martin, the Sheriff of Fergus County, is the one shown above with his foot propped up. The elk head hung on the wall is an excellent visual representation of the saloon’s namesake. A Schlitz beer sign can be seen hanging on the wall, one of America’s most popular beers that can still be drunk today.
