Before making that decision, Keely had been in denial about how serious the situation was. Even though her stomach felt increasingly tender, she tried to stay positive, hoping things would improve. Despite her efforts, she quickly ballooned to a size eight. Oddly enough, even this didn’t push her to visit a doctor. It was even more ironic as her dad was one himself!
Deep down, Keely wondered whether she was expecting a baby. It was the best-case scenario, and she clung to it. But things kept getting worse. Finally, she decided it was time to find out what was really happening to her.
