Children’s creativity knows no bounds. Geometry is the part of math that deals with two-dimensional shapes, such as squares, rectangles, triangles, and ovals, and three-dimensional shapes, such as the cylinder, sphere, and rectangular prism.

This child was asked to name the 2D shapes displayed on the page. They answered the question the only way they knew how—by giving them pretty English names. If anything, the teacher should have done a bit more explaining.
