Majel Barrett, cherished as Nurse Christine Chapel in “Star Trek: The Original Series,” captivated audiences with her dedication and unrequited love for Spock. Beyond this role, she earned the nickname “The First Lady of Star Trek” for her extensive involvement in the franchise.
Majel voiced the onboard computer in multiple series and portrayed Lwaxana Troi in “The Next Generation” and “Deep Space Nine.” After her on-screen contributions, she continued to influence the Star Trek universe through her voice even after her passing in 2008.
