The Milan Cathedral Is Italy’s Religious Center For Hundreds of Years
A structure that defines the phrase “history in the making,” Milan’s Gothic Cathedral, better known as the Duomo di Milano, took nearly 600 years to build. Construction started in 1386 and was officially completed in 1965, the year the first image was taken.
