It’s hard to believe that an oak tree over 300 years old is still growing, but it’s true! The Big Oak Tree, located in Thomasville, Georgia, U.S.A., has an estimated limb span of over 165 feet and a trunk circumference of over 26 feet.
Comparing the first pictures taken in 1895 to the ones taken in 2020, it’s obvious that the branches and leaves have grown considerably, extending to the grounds making this one of the oldest natural landmarks.
